Life coaching is a growing field, offering individuals guidance in setting goals, improving personal well-being, and making empowered life decisions. While many Muslims are turning to coaching for clarity and motivation, there is an urgent need to ensure that life coaching is practiced with Islamic ethics, responsibility, and spiritual awareness .

At AIMS, we believe that coaching can be a powerful tool for transformation— but only when rooted in sound Islamic principles, Islamic professional standards, and ethical accountability.

Why Responsible Life Coaching Matters

Today, a wide range of people offer life coaching online. While many are well-intentioned, not all are trained, regulated, or Islamically grounded . Without proper oversight, coaching can unintentionally cause harm—through unqualified advice, overstepping boundaries, or neglecting the deeper spiritual and emotional needs of Muslim clients.

Membership Commitments

  • Coaching is not a replacement for therapy, counselling, or spiritual guidance.
  • Free promotion of job vacancies and volunteer roles, as well as placement opportunities for students and trainees.
  • Coaches must be trained to respect boundaries, refer appropriately, and uphold trust.
  • Muslim coaches must be especially mindful of Islamic ethics, intentions, and impact.
